Ticketing Terms & Conditions
These general conditions of sale apply to any online purchase of e-ticket for Smart Buildings for Smart Cities Summer Universities which will be held on September 4 & 5, 2019 at the Square, Brussels Convention Center.
Smart Buildings for Smart Cities Summer Universities are organised by DYMB.
Any order on the website implies the unconditional acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale.
Nominative access for the 2 days, to all the conferences (plenary sessions, thematic workshops, pitch marathons) and the Exhibition, to the catering service for all lunch breaks and to the Networking Cocktail on the evening of September 4th. Wi-Fi connection included.
Nominative access for the 2 days to the entire Exhibition and thematic workshops.
Coffee breaks and Wi-Fi connection included.
Indicated rates are in euros and include all taxes (6% VAT included).
Securing payments and personal data
The website is subject to a security system set up by Weezevent.
The information and data needed to order the ticket are kept for security purposes. The information collected is processed electronically for communication purposes for Smart Building for Smart Cities Summer Universities.
In accordance with the Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978 amended in 2004, you have the right to access, rectify and oppose your information.
Order confirmation and validation
The "click" of the buyer under the purchase order constitutes an electronic signature which has, between the parties, the same value as a handwritten signature.
Any order signed by the buyer is a firm and definitive commitment.
E-ticket order on the Internet is definitively guaranteed only upon receipt of the confirmation email including the link to e-ticket, to be printed. Any reservation confirmed by the customer by clicking on the "validate" button is the customer's definitive and irrevocable reservation commitment.
No right of withdrawal: "In accordance with Article L 121-20-4 of the Consumer Code, tickets for fairs and exhibitions (similar to leisure) are not subject to a right of withdrawal".
Cancellation and refund
An e-ticket cannot be refunded even in the case of loss or theft, neither taken back nor exchanged, except in the case of event's cancellation and a decision by DYMB to refund e-tickets.
Only the buyer may be refunded by crediting his bank account for the amount of the e-ticket, excluding rental and additional costs, and on request only.
Specific conditions of the e-ticket
After full payment of the order, the customer receives an order confirmation at the email address he has previously provided. In this email he will have a link to download his e-ticket in PDF format.
Conditions of use:
Control: Access to the event subject to the validity check of your e-ticket which must be printed on blank white A4 paper, without changing the printing format and in good quality. The organiser reserves the right to refuse other media, in particular electronic devices.
Fraud: It is prohibited to reproduce, use a copy, duplicate or counterfeit the e-ticket, under penalty of criminal prosecution.
Liability: The buyer remains responsible for the use of the e-ticket, so in the case of loss, theft or duplication of a valid e-ticket, only the first person holding the e-ticket will be able to access the event.
The event: The event remain and remain under the sole responsibility of the organiser. The acquisition of the e-ticket implies, if necessary, adherence to the internal rules of the event location and/or the organiser.
Applicable law - dispute
Ticket sales covered by these general terms and conditions of sale are subject to French law. In the case of a dispute, the French courts have sole authority.
